6/9/08  FEELING THE ECONOMIC CRUNCH?

The Governor’s Children’s Cabinet has gathered information and resources for where Arizonans can get assistance in their own communities, and put it into a usable format on the www.az211.gov website. The purpose of this information is to reach out to Arizonans who are currently experiencing financial stressors who may not know where to turn, or who are not used to reaching out for help.

Please share this information with your employees and anyone else you believe will benefit. Included are tips for saving money on household bills and contact information for debt/financial assistance, transportation related tips, information on health insurance and suggestions for reducing food costs in easy to navigate feature pages on the www.az211.gov website.

Please visit the Family Economic Relief feature on 211 to find more details on ways you can find help for your friends, family, neighbors, and those you come into contact with at work.

We hope this information will provide a vital link for helping people to weather through the current economic situation. We also hope this information promotes further partnership among individuals, communities and state agencies for a stronger Arizona.

Thank you,
John Arnold
